Structure SDK (iOS): What sample apps do developers have access to in the SDK?

Structure SDK includes a number of sample apps that provide developers with a great foundation for creating their first applications that use the Structure Sensor.

The following sample apps are available in Structure SDK:

Scanner: A 3D scanning app that lets you capture a precise 3D model of people and objects, including high-resolution color textures. Scanner includes a basic export function that allows the user to export an OBJ, or PLY file by email.

Room Capture (sunsetting soon): Rapidly capture large spaces like rooms, including color textures. Room Capture includes a basic export function that allows the user to export an OBJ file by email.

Viewer: This simple and easy-to-use application displays a camera view, a colorful depth view, and a surface normal view.

Commercial SDK (only)

3DFootScan: Harnesses the power of Apple TrueDepth sensors to capture feet with the click of a button. You can capture scans by tapping on screen or using the volume buttons.

3DFaceScan: Scan your face in 3D using Apple TrueDepth sensors and the power of ARKit to track your pupils in relation to your face.

3DChonkScan : A robust application which allows you to use either Structure Sensor or Apple LiDAR devices to scan objects larger than a head. (ie. a non-moving chonky cat 😸)
