Can I Upgrade My Structure Core's Obsolete Firmware?

The short answer is, yes! However, the process will depend entirely on which version of firmware your sensor is now running.

Because the USB endpoints change from firmware version to firmware version, users will need to update their old firmware in several steps.

  1. Windows and Linux Users: install 0.9.x driver. Mac and Android users will not need driver installation.
  2. Run CoreFirmwareUpdater0.9.7.
  3. Run CoreFirmwareUpdater1.0.0.
  4. Windows and Linux Users: install 1.0.0 driver. Mac and Android users will not need driver installation.
  5. Run CoreFirmwareUpdater1.2.0.

Note on Skanect Compatibility
