Structure Capture: How to purchase a Structure Capture subscription
Structure Capture uses the Apple App Store for all billing, including the free trial, monthly subscription, yearly subscription, and redemption codes.
Because of this, you will not see the payment screen when you first open the app.
The subscription prompt only appears after you export your first scan.
Below are the steps to access the payment screen and start your subscription.
1. Download and open Structure Capture
After installing Structure Capture from the App Store, open the app on your iPad or iPhone.
You will see a prompt to connect a Structure Sensor, or you can choose to use TrueDepth or LiDAR by tapping the gear icon (Settings) in the upper-left corner.
2. Connect your sensor and perform a scan
Connect your Structure Sensor 3, Structure Sensor Pro, or Mark II
or
- Select TrueDepth or LiDAR from the Settings menu
Once connected, start a new scan and complete it normally.
3. After the scan, go to the preview screen
When the scan finishes, you’ll be taken to the scan preview page.
This is where you can rotate, inspect, and review your mesh before exporting.
4. Tap the “Export” button (top-right corner)
The payment screen will appear immediately after tapping Export.
This is where you’ll choose:
- Monthly subscription
- Yearly subscription
- Start the free 1-week trial
Redeem a code (if you received a 1-year Structure Capture code with your sensor purchase)
5. Complete the subscription through the App Store
All payments are processed by Apple.
Once you choose your option, follow the App Store prompt to complete the purchase.
After that, you’ll be able to export scans normally.
