What graphics cards are supported?
In general, any CUDA-enabled (NVIDIA) graphics card with more than 1GB or memory and compatible with CUDA 2.0 should work.
We originally developed Skanect using an Asus laptop with a GTX 560M, an Alienware laptop with a GTX 580M, and an Alienware X51 desktop with a GTX 660.
Important Note on RTX 3060, 3070, 3080, and 3090 GPUs
The CUDA SDK utilized in Skanect is an older version that does not support Compute Capabilities over 7.5. If you own an RTX 3060 or beyond, you will be unable to utilize GPU reconstruction. The good news is, your CPU is likely powerful enough to run Skanect without any noticeable slowdown.
